HAPPY FRIDAY!! Can you tell I’m happy it’s Friday? Luckily for me, my school week ends on thursdays, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still love Fridays :)
Speaking of Friday, this will be my first post in the Food Frenzy Friday Link-up from blogger Kierston at Candyfit.net . Let’s get right to it!
There are a few things I miss now that I eat clean – one of those things is ranch dressing. It’s a good addition to salad (obviously), any mexican dish, or as a veggie dip. I decided to play scientist in my kitchen, and come up with a recipe for you all to make!!
Greek Yogurt “Ranch” Dip/dressing – by Elyse
- 2 Tbsp plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp dill weed
- 1/2 garlic powder
- 1/2 onion powder
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp unsweetened coconut milk
- pinch of salt
- (optional) a few shakes of ground cumin for a southwest ranch taste
Mix all the ingredients in a small dish and enjoy! Makes 1 serving. Adjust ingredients to taste preference if desired.
I used this dip several times – I made it as a dip for a veggie tray I brought over to Kayla’s on Labor Day, I used it as a salad dressing, and I made the ‘southwest’ version for my paleo mexican rice bowl! It totally satisfies my craving for the creamy texture of ranch without all the fat and calories.

I had mentioned putting up a recipe for Paleo Primavera Pepper Pies, however, I still want to do a little tweaking and experimenting with it..so that’ll be for next friday!
